Are you ready to be dropped back into the Stranger Things world when Stranger Things season 4 part 1 premieres on Netflix on May 27? We are and we can hardly contain our excitement! Our excitement has only increased after seeing pictures of the cast dressed to the nines on the red carpet at the various Stranger Things season 4 premieres. But we noticed that some stars had a significant other on their arms. More specifically, Gaten Matarazzo was spotted with a beautiful young lady at one of the premieres, which led us to question who the mystery lady was.
Gaten plays the goofy and quirky Dustin Henderson in the science fiction series. While we watched the budding romances of Eleven and Mike and Lucas and Max, Dustin was missing out. Luckily, Dustin did end up meeting someone and getting a girlfriend in season 3. And it looks like Dustin isn’t the only one who got a girlfriend. Gaten is currently dating a lucky lady, and it looks like they’ve been dating for a while.

So here’s the scoop! Gaten is dating actress Elizabeth Yu. You might be familiar with Yu’s name because she is set to star in a film titled Somewhere in Queens and the live-action series Avatar: The Last Airbender. Gaten and Elizabeth just recently celebrated their four-year anniversary in March 2022. On March 5, Gaten posted a short but sweet message about their four-year anniversary on his Instagram page. He said, “Four years? That’s dope. I love you. Thanks for being my best friend. Happy anniversary goob. Edit: im an hour late to the post😒. Sahwy.”
Gaten and Elizabeth aren’t afraid to let fans into their private life. They often post photos of each other and with each other on their Instagram pages. They’ve been dating since March 2018, and it looks like their families are supportive of their relationship too. In an interview with Us Weekly in September 2018, Gaten talked about how much his family loves Elizabeth. He said, “My family loves her, she’s great. My brother and my sister get along with her great.” Four years later and they’re still going strong! Don’t you just love young love?
I would love to see Gaten and Elizabeth star in a show or movie together. Netflix, please make it happen!
