Barracuda Queens is a new series to check out on Netflix. It dropped on the streaming platform on June 5, and more and more people are tuning in to see what it’s all about. Barracuda Queens is a Swedish Netflix original series helmed by Amanda Adolfsson from scripts written by brilliant writers such as Camilla Ahlgren, Sofie Forsman, Tove Forsman, and Veronica Zacco. Additionally, Asp Varhos is the production company behind the show.
Loosely inspired by true events, Barracuda Queens follows a group of four young privileged girls in the ’90s, who commit house burglaries, targeting their wealthy neighbors in an attempt to rebel, liberate themselves, and get revenge on the men who have done them wrong.

Alva Bratt (Lollo Millkvist), Tindra Monsen (Klara Rapp), Sandra Zubovic (Frida Rapp), and Tea Stjärne (Mia Thorstensson) play the four privileged girls who call themselves the “Barracuda Queens” and commit burglaries. Sarah Gustafsson plays Amina in the series. Amina ends up joining the Barracuda Queens on their heists.
Alva is best known for her previous roles in the TV shows A Class Apart, LasseMajas detektivbyrå, Eagles and Kronprinsen som försvann. You might’ve watched Sandra in the Swedish drama film JJ+E.
Tea is known for her previous roles in Tjuvarnas jul, The Wizard’s Daughter and Sune – Uppdrag: Midsommar. You might recognize Sarah from her previous roles in the TV shows Eagles and En mot en. Lastly, Tindra makes her acting debut with this series.
