You’ve probably already seen Netflix’s horror-thriller Brand New Cherry Flavor season 1 and are a little discombobulated by what has happened in the season. It’s okay. We’re just as confused! But really, the Netflix horror series is just living up to its source material (novel titled the same name by Todd Grimson). The question is, will there be a Brand New Cherry Flavor season 2?
Season 1 of Brand New Cherry Flavor can be bizarre at times and may have you with a temporary loss of appetite due to some intensely disgusting scenes (cats eating a dead corpse, faceless entities, etc.). But this is what you can possibly see when watching a horror series, so I guess you can say that this is what you signed up for when watching Brand New Cherry Flavor.
The Netflix original series stars some very familiar faces such as American Horror Story: Murder House‘s Rosa Salazar as Lisa Nova, Get Out‘s Catherine Keener as Boro, Lost‘s Eric Lange as Lou Burke and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D‘s Jeff Ward as Roy Hardaway. There are also many recurring characters who are portrayed by actors you’ve probably seen before.
To not give anything away for those who have not watched Brand New Cherry Flavor season 1, we’ll just say that the season ended where there could be a possible season 2. So, is the limited series getting another season?
It’s currently uncertain if there will be a second season of Brand New Cherry Flavor on Netflix. Netflix has not confirmed a season 2, and we’re patiently waiting for an announcement. However, we have to keep in mind that the show is a limited series, which normally means there will only be one season.
However, with the way season 1 ended, there’s a possibility for a second season. Also, this wouldn’t be the first time a limited series was given a second season, so keep your hopes up!

If Netflix confirms that there will be a season 2 and they begin filming in 2021, we should expect season 2 to drop on Netflix sometime in 2023. Season 1 of Brand New Cherry Flavor began production in 2019 and was released on Netflix in 2021. This means that it took about two years for the series to be completed.
