How many episodes are in One Piece on Netflix? (episode count, titles, and more)

One Piece is now streaming on Netflix, and truly, there’s nothing else you should be watching besides this new fantasy adventure series. But before you start your binge session, we must share with you the total episode count, episode titles, and more. That way, you know how much time you’ll need to set aside to watch it.

If you’re a fan of Japanese manga series, I’m pretty sure you’ve heard of One Piece. It’s the highest-selling manga series in history, and it’s still ongoing. Netflix decided to make a live-action adaptation of the popular manga, and it’s already reported to be the most-hyped Netflix show of 2023. This is the One Piece franchise’s first live-action adaptation, so the pressure is on.

Based on Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece manga series, the live-action adaptation follows young pirate Monkey D. Luffy as he and his ragtag pirate crew set sail across dangerous endless oceans and exotic islands on an epic voyage to find the legendary treasure left behind by the late Gold Roger. By finding the treasure, also known as the One Piece, Luffy can then become King of the Pirates. This is a dream he’s had since he was a young boy.

Rising actor Iñaki Godoy plays the main character, Monkey D. Luffy. Mackenyu (Roronoa Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero Gibson (Usopp), Taz Skylar (Sanji), Vincent Regan (Vice Admiral Garp), Morgan Davies (Koby), and many others join Godoy in the cast.

Like many other Netflix originals, One Piece season 1 is made up of eight episodes. Additionally, the episodes are in the 40 to 60-minute range.

Initially, we were expecting there to be 10 episodes because when Netflix ordered the series back in January 2020, it was revealed that the streamer had ordered 10 episodes. Unfortunately, it’s unclear why the episode count was shortened to eight episodes, though.
