After watching Netflix’s latest teen comedy, You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, you would be forgiven for thinking that Adam Sandler and Idina Menzel might be together in real life. The pair have great chemistry, and something about seeing them together on-screen as Bree and Stacy Friedman just makes sense. But are they dating in real life?
In the movie, Sandler plays the supporting role of Danny Friedman, husband of Bree Friedman (Menzel) and father to Ronnie and Stacy Friedman, played by the comedian’s real-life daughters Sadie and Sunny Sandler. She plays Gabi Rodriguez Katz, mother of Stacy’s best friend Lydia (Samantha Lorraine) and wife of Lydia’s father Eli Rodriguez (Luis Guzmán). Adam and Jackie have been married for over 20 years!
Idina Menzel is also married, though her husband doesn’t have a role in her latest movie. She married actor Aaron Lohr in 2017.
